To our great pleasure we have agreed with Soltin Marine to re-new our long and positive cooperation with time charter of M/V ‘Amalie!

Amalie is dear to us and has been with us for a long time. She has proven very useful with her flexible and high capacity of NDWT 2035 mts, divided on 1347 m3 in 8 tanks and 1424 m3 in-door cargo space. The tanks are filled with all types of waste and shipped to our facilities for further treatment. SAR receives approx. 150 000 tons of drilling waste per year which we treat and bring back to its basis of dry-material, re-usable oil and clean water

Amalie will continue her usual sailing pattern between SARs bases along the coast, from Tananger in the south to Hammerfest in the north. If you have any questions, catch her in a snapshot a beautiful winter day along the coast and would like to share it with us or just would like a chat, our Logistics Manager and the rest of the SAR team would love to hear from you.

“With Amalie on time chart, SAR will have a type of vessel that can combine both part loads and fluid, meaning the total carbon footprint will be lower per metric tons forwarded compared to conventional vessels. It will also continue our ability to be more flexible in terms of utilizations of internal storage tanks at SAR bases”

Logistics Manager, Ove Sundvor.
