This fee applies to non-quota obligated incineration facilities. An increase of 354 Norwegian kroner per ton represents a substantial fee hike, resulting in corresponding increases in the prices for waste delivery to incineration facilities from the turn of the year.   ### Increased source sorting can help reduce costs Every customer and business have the opportunity to decrease actual costs. This is related to the purpose behind the fee, which is to encourage and stimulate increased source sorting, thereby reducing the proportion of waste that undergoes incineration.
