Everyone wants sustainability and cicular economy. Will anyone pay to get there, and how will the government help us on our way?
In SAR we work continously with sustainability and circular economy – and we know one thing for certain; we cannot do it alone. To enable the suppliers to develop and present sustainable solution, the customers must contribute to cover the costs connected to this work, and the government must contribute by enable both the customers and the suppliers to carry these costs. Perhaps the prices must go up before they can come down, and from there we og to cheaper – to free – to getting paid – for our waste.
Is it possible? We have no doubt!
We are already there on many fractions, such as oil, paper and metals. It will only take time and resources to go the same route with the rest.
New national waste plan is out on hearing. Hence, this is a good time for a reminder of the tools and means the government posesses, and how much of a difference they can make. We await with exitement on specific suggestions and measures to speed up to reach our joint environmental goals
