Vacation's over, revision for future waste classification continues!

For SAR, it is crucial to invest in projects that have a direct and positive impact on the work we perform daily as a total provider of environmental services. We aim to prioritize circularity, sustainability, and environmental protection in all the solutions and decisions we make.

One of SAR's environmental advisors, Håvard Nateland, is the working group leader for the revision project of the NS9431 standard for waste classification. This project is organized by Standard Norge and involves many skilled players from the waste industry, including NFFA (Norwegian Association for Hazardous Waste) in an observer role, with broad participation from various industry working groups. For SAR, it is important to invest in and set direction for work that promotes environmental protection and sustainability.

Through close dialogue with various roles on board and a strong focus on minimizing the footprint and improving waste flow, we work together with customers to identify and implement effective solutions in accordance with current regulations. In other words, communication and collaboration are the most important tools in this process.
